Fashion editor Richard Buckley, Tom Ford's lovely husband, has died at the age of 72
Richard Buckley, 72, the husband of fashion designer Tom Ford, has died at the age of 72, according to Ford brand representatives.
"It is with great sadness that Tom Ford announces the death of his 35-year-old beloved husband, Richard Buckley," Ford's representatives told CNN Style.
"Richard died peacefully with Tom and his son Jack at his home in Los Angeles last night. He died of natural causes after a long illness."
Buckley served as editor-in-chief of Vogue Homes International for six years before leaving in 2005. He has held a number of prestigious positions in the field, including fashion editor for 25 years. Women's Clothing Daily, Social Editor of the Vanity Fair and European Editor of the now deceased Mirabella Magazine. He also contributed to topics such as Italian Vogue and New York Magazine.
